The Mitrik Exchange Process:

  • 1. Set up an Appointment

    If you’re ready to sell your clothing and accessories, visit the “Appointments” tab on our website to book online or call our store at (803) 560-0608.

  • 2. Bring in Items

    Bring in your freshly laundered clothing and accessories. Our Luxury Buyer will evaluate your items and choose which ones we think will sell best. This means items that are in style, in season, and free if flaws.

  • 3. Selling Process

    Items are typically listed at ⅓ of retail price based on condition. Once the item(s) sell, consignors receive 40% of the selling price. For luxury handbags, consignors receive 60% of the selling price. Consigned items will be displayed on the floor for 60 days.

  • 4. Get Paid

    Checks are available to pick up on the 15-20th of each month or your credit can be applied to purchases in store. We only mail checks for those who live outside of Fort Mill, SC. To keep track of your available and sold items as well as view your account balance, find your account here.

How is Consignment different that Thrifting?

Consignment: People are paid for their sold items. Consignment stores are often “nicer” as the inventory is hand-chosen.

Thrifting: Items are received through donation. The donators do not receive any money for their items.

Will I receive payment immediately upon bringing in my items?

No. The nature of a luxury consignment store means that consignors are paid when their items sell. Consignors receive 40% of the selling price for items retailing < $1000 and 60% of the selling price for items > $1000 (up to our luxury buyers discretion).

What type of items do you accept?

We accept men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry, and all other accessories.

We usually only take items that are appropriate for the season. We also accept all size ranges.

Do you sell your inventory online?

Not exactly. Our inventory changes daily so online sales are not entirely feasible.

However, we post new inventory on our Instagram every day! You can always give us a call to purchase an item over the phone. Purchased items can be picked up/shipped.

What is your return policy?

All sales final. Due to how we payout consignors, Mitrik Exchange does not accept returns.

It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure their items fit and are free of flaws before purchasing.

Do you only accept designer brands?

While we focus on carrying luxury and designer brands, we will sometimes make exceptions for items that are in-style and we know will sell.
